So far, as of September 2013, I have been living in the United Arab Emirates for more than a year now! It’s crazy to think that I’ve been here that long and at the same time crazy to remember that at one point in my life I did not live here. I love that my daily drive to work involves seeing camels roaming the desert, that my apartment is only an hour from Dubai, that I have come to love the Emirati culture, and that I have made friends with people from all over the world including Scotland, Syria, Jordan, England, and Ireland.
