On Friday Scott and I ventured to Dubai for their annual Taste of Dubai Festival. Many of the major restaurants in Dubai come and let you offer a taste of their menu. We even got to meet one of the chefs and saw a couple food presentations by people from the food network. It was an outdoor event with tents and tables set up on the green grass. Each restaurant had their personal style – leather sofas to sit on, picnic tables, bean bag chairs, cushions by the water – it was really a nice event. But enough of me chatting about it – here are some pictures . . .

We met the chef of Mango Tree restaurant - a Thai place. It had hands down the best food! I love that you can see the cardboard cutout of him in the background of the picture! He was really great.
