After Heritage Village we checked into our hotel, the Sheraton Corniche. It was a really nice hotel:

DSCN4056DSCN4057After checking out the hotel we went to Hatam Restaurant in the Marina Mall. We got our own private booth to eat in!

DSCN4058The next morning we got up early and took a tour of the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. I have blogged about this back in August so if you want to see more pictures of it click here. Here are the pictures from our second trip with my mom and brother there:

DSCN4082DSCN4081After an afternoon of rest it was back to some sightseeing – to the Emirates Palace, a 7 star hotel!

DSCN4085DSCN4090DSCN4092DSCN4096DSCN4097I did not take nearly enough pictures – its a really breathtaking place. After that we went to the Lebanese Flower Restaurant. The owner came out and gave us complimentary falafel, hummus, dessert, and tea/coffee with our meal!!
