So in case I have not mentioned it before, Lulus is what is classified as a hypermarket here. Hypermarkets are like super Walmart – you can get food, clothes, shoes, appliances, and all kinds of house wear and furniture. So we went there to do some grocery shopping today and look what we found in the ice cream aisle:
TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM!
And this is not any Turkey Hill ice cream – it’s from Dutch country:
Imported right from Lancaster County, PA : ) And it comes complete with an Arabic food label over here:

What a treat! I would never have guessed that you can buy Turkey Hill ice cream all the way over there. How great is that on one of your 120 degree days? I see that it is even sweetened with Splenda which I must use. Thanks for keeping us POSTed.

Ice cream is the best on hot days here!!! I could not believe we saw Turkey Hill – my jaw totally dropped in the grocery store : ) Cant wait to share some Turkey Hill Ice Cream this summer when we come to visit!!!
That is awesome indeed, and even sugar free! I feel so honored to know there is Turkey Hill ice cream in the UAE. Now I know I need to visit you! Do they have a variety of flavors? I was entering some map grades for one of our professors today and just realized how close you are to where Abraham was. At least it looks close on the small maps the students had to do. They had quite a few flavors – we also bought Moose Tracks! I just love Turkey Hill even more now. I’d love to see the map! Maybe you could email it us? As always – missing you and sending our love : )
Yum . . . Moose Tracks is one of my favorites! I didn’t even ask about that because I didn’t think they would have it! Chocolate Cherry Cordial is another of my favorites. I noticed that the one on the picture only has 70 calories!!!
